Draft. This policy is a working draft pending review by Georgian legal counsel. It describes our intended practices but is not yet a final legal document.
rented.ge is a property-management service for landlords in Georgia. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers both landlords who hold an account and tenants whose details a landlord records in the service.
We use personal data to provide the service: to generate leases, track rent, send payment reminders and receipts, calculate late fees, alert landlords to lease expiry, and produce tax summaries. We also use aggregated, non-identifying usage data to understand and improve the product.
We rely on trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, including our database and authentication host (Supabase) and our email delivery provider (Resend). When card payments launch, a licensed payment provider (Keepz) will process payment details — rented.ge does not store card numbers. We do not sell personal data.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each landlord's records are isolated from other landlords. We keep data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain records only as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to applicable Georgian law. Landlords are responsible for having a lawful basis to record their tenants' details in the service.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to privacy@rented.ge.
